Common Questions

Why does a title show "Failed to load"?

Smoovie depends on the TMDB API and a backend proxy. Transient network issues or a temporary TMDB outage can cause this. Pull to refresh, or try again in a few minutes. If it persists, please report it via email.

Where does the movie and TV data come from?

All metadata, posters, ratings and cast information are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). Smoovie uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Where can I watch a title?

Each title's detail page shows streaming availability via JustWatch, scoped to your selected region. You can change region from Settings → Region. Smoovie itself does not stream content — it links you to the providers that do.

How do I delete my data?

Smoovie stores no personal data on any server. Your watchlist lives only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it entirely. If you opted in to crash reporting, see the privacy policy for how to turn it off or request deletion.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Send an email to k0d4black@gmail.com with as much detail as you can — what you tapped, what you expected, what happened instead, plus a screenshot if relevant.
